Our retraining specialisations are structured according to the Subject Content Knowledge Requirements Policy of the New South Wales Education Standards Authority (NESA).
Applicants living in New South Wales seeking to use the retraining specialisation to add an additional teaching qualification (in Mathematics or TESOL) to their portfolio must already hold an accredited teaching degree and must be registered as a teacher with NESA. For recognition in other states, territories and countries, graduates should contact the regulatory authority in the relevant jurisdiction to determine the specific requirements for recognition as a teacher in that area.
