The Master of Health Economics, Management and Policy (Global) provides a global orientation for professionals within the healthcare sector. It provides a practical toolkit of leadership and management skills as well as analytical and conceptual knowledge of health economics, policy and governance.
The program has been developed in response to the increasingly difficult global challenges arising within the healthcare sectors. By developing your leadership and management skills and your understanding of the economics and governance of health policies, you will be equipped to respond innovatively to these international challenges.
The program will foster new skills for those already employed within the sector, as well as adding value to future employees yet to enter the sector.

The suite of Health Economics, Management and Policy is accredited by the Australasian College of Health Services Management (ACHSM) and the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (RACMA).
ACHSM Accreditation – ACHSM is the peak professional body for health managers in Australasia and brings together health leaders to learn, network and share ideas. Health Economics, Management and Policy students qualify for a free ACHSM student membership.
RACMA Accreditation – RACMA is a specialist medical college providing education, training, knowledge and advice in medical management recognised by the Australian and New Zealand Medical Council.
CIFAL Accreditation - CIFAL Newcastle certifies postgraduate programs that equip people from diverse backgrounds to understand disaster resilience and sustainable development principles. Their work will improve organisations’ capacity to operate through extreme events and emerge better placed to face the future.
